Based on a bronze figurine of a valkyrie from a find from Hårby, Denmark, dating back to the 7th century, I created my own character. My Valkyrie is also in a way a self-portrait with my own expression. The valkyrie is a powerful female figure from the Norse mythology who choose those who may die in battle and those who may live. Medium: Etching print on water color paper
